By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. I've been filling in this week hosting our morning show on NCWLIFE TV in Wenatchee and each day we feature an obscure holiday of the day. Yesterday was National Tortilla Chip Day. I never knew there was such a thing! Admittedly, I'm a chip-a-holic. For whatever reason, if I have a sandwich, there has to be chips. My wife suggested I try carrots instead. Nope, there has to be that salty crunch. It made me think of fishing, however. Here's where you come in. What are your go-to snacks to bring along when you go fishing? For me, it depends if I'm fishing from shore or out on the boat. Chips are always part of the equation for me. If we're out on the boat, I like to bring Pringles or Lay's Stax. They come in their own container with a lid. That way, if the wind comes up or the boat rocks from side to side, it's hard to spill the chips on the floor. Marion loves sunflower seeds. I'm up for some good ole cheese, crackers and meat too. And who could pass up some smoked fish? What's your favorite? Until next time, Good Fishing!
