For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. I can't begin to tell you how happy I was to see Dad here last weekend. He actually showed up Thursday so he could see me speak as the keynote at the Tailgate Luncheon in Wenatchee Friday. He was a proud parent, that's for sure. I feel sorry for those around him because I'm sure he was gushing all over them about his kiddo. Then, Saturday morning bright and early, we were off to Lake Roosevelt. We launched at Spring Canyon. I had heard the water was still rather high, and sure enough, it's still lapping at the upper docks. We launched and ran up lake a little. There was a brisk wind coming down lake and I didn't want to beat Dad up too much, so we tucked over across from Plum Point. We started fishing along the shoreline off Hideout Ranch Road and found our first walleye in 120-feet of water. After catching our 4th, I had my head down re-rigging rods and the bowmount took us into 25-feet of water and the screen lit up with fish. Kokanee and rainbow were jumping all around. More on that Thursday. Until next time, Good Fishing!
