By Dave Graybill

To make fishing on Father’s Day even more attractive the Department of Fish and Wildlife has added some whoppers in some of lakes in Eastern Washington. The pound-and-a half rainbow have been planted in the following lakes: in Grant County, 400 in Park Lake, Okanogan County, 350 in Alta Lake and 750 in Conconully Reservoir, in Kittitas County 250 in Cooper Lake, in Yakima County 500 in Clear Lake, in Spokane County 1,250 in West Medical Lake and 400 in Williams Lake, in Pend Oreille County, 600 in Diamond Lake. I will remind everyone that the 22nd annual East Wenatchee Pikeminnow Derby takes place this Father’s Day Weekend, and is designed to be a fun derby for families. Information about the derby can be found in East Wenatchee at Bob Feil Boats and Motors and Bi-Mart, and in Wenatchee at Hooked on Toys.
