Chinook and salmon season opens July 1st and I hope you are ready. The new regs are out now in most sporting goods stores and are worth a look. There some changes for the good on some lakes, like Banks Lake walleye limits. To make the most of your summer fishing for salmon and other species I have organized a couple of seminars that you will want to attend. The first is in Pateros at the Central Building on Friday, July 10th. There will be presentations from local guides on Chinook and sockeye fishing. Also optional is a dinner with wine and beer available. For information visit howard’s on the lake dot com. The dinner starts at 5 and the seminars at 6. On Wednesday, July 15th there will be a seminar on walleye fishing in our region by expert guides. This one will be held at Town Ford in East Wenatchee and will begin at 6 p.m. For information on this seminar you can call Town Ford at 509-663-2111.
