Listen up fly fishers. There is an event coming up on the weekend that is built just for you. It’s the Fly Fishing Fair, taking place at the Convention Center in Lynnwood, Washington this Saturday and Sunday. Both days of this show are packed with seminars, programs, fly casting demonstration and fly tying. The best people in the sport from all over the planet are gathering here to share their knowledge. If you go on-line to the web site, www.flyfishingshow.com and click on the Lynnwood button you will see what I mean about being packed. I see several familiar names on the list, like Jack Mitchell, Johnny Boitano, Denny Rickards and Leland Miyawaki. I have fished with most of these guys and know that hearing what they have to say would be well worth the time. I have fished the upper Yakima with the guys from Troutwater a couple of times and you should check this out if you like catching big wild rainbow with a taste of adventure. The show opens at 9 a.m. on both days and the cost is $15 for one day or $25 for two. Learn about local fly fisheries or opportunities from all over the world. It’s going to a good one.
