Maybe it’s the weather change. I am trying to find the reason for some poor fishing results. I had a bad day at Rocky Ford Creek, and I will blame that on a dead calm and sunny day. I had a terrific day just ten days or so ago at The Ford, but it was very overcast, chilly and there was a slight breeze. I also had been getting good reports on the fishing at Lake Roosevelt, but talking to someone who just came back from a trip up there said that the fishing sucked. Something is going on and I think the fish know that we are going to get some winter like weather. Hey, that’s okay. I am headed for the Central Washington Sportsmen’s Show at the Sundome in Yakima, and will be spending the next few days indoors. I have always liked this show and have been going for years. This time I will be with the folks from Bob Feil Boats and Motors. They will be showing some of their boats from Kingfisher, Smoker Craft and others. The Kingfisher that I will be driving soon will be on display, so stop on by and take a look at it.
