By Dave Graybill

If you are planning to take your family to the Chelan County Fair, be sure to take the kids to the Auditorium and the Outdoor Recreation Area. There are things to see here, and a kids fishing pond. The pond is open to fishing all day on Saturday and until 5 p.m. on Sunday. Fishing is free and there is bait and rods and reels provided. Don’t forget, there is an important public meeting with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife coming up on Wednesday, September 10th. They will be taking comments on proposed and suggested rule changes in the Columbia Basin. The meeting will be at the Chelan County PUD Auditorium, starting at 7 p.m. On Thursday, September 11th there will be a free fall salmon fishing seminar at Town Ford in East Wenatchee. Rick Graybill will be the presenter. It starts at 6 p.m. I will be doing a seminar on the same topic at Bob Feil Boats and Motors in East Wenatchee, and this one will be held on Saturday, September 13th, starting at 1 p.m. There will be lots of prizes and plenty of parking.
