The weather has turned cool and wet and temperatures have dropped. This is all good news for steelhead anglers that like to fish the smaller rivers in our region. Fishing should improve soon on the Wenatchee, Entiat, Methow, Okanogan and Similkameen rivers. When these cooler temperatures have been sustained for a period, even the fishing on the Columbia will get better. I want to remind anglers that starting in November, there are new time slots for the Fishing Magician’s Outdoor Insider Television Show. It will now be shown at 7 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday mornings. This includes the shows airs in the great Wenatchee Valley on cable Channels 12 and 19, and on ComCast’s Channel 3 in the Columbia Basin. If you aren’t on cable in the region, you an log onto www.kwcctv.com and what the shows on your computer at these same times. There is a great line up of shows specifically on steelhead fishing throughout the month of November, and although the shows aren’t anything fancy, they are loaded with good information. My wife Eileen has been busy shooting and editing and you will be seeing more programs that we do ourselves, live and on the water in future shows.
