Park Lake Me with smallmouth best
I know the trout fishing is good at Park Lake, near Soap Lake, and I heard the bass fishing was good, too. Here's an example of the size of the smallmouth in Park Lake and nearby Blue Lake has them, too.
Potholes Me web
This 20-inch walleye was the only one I got on my last trip to Potholes Reservoir. Fishing has picked up quite a bit since then, though. I am eager to go back.
Stugeon 9 Footer web
Austin Moser, Autstin's Northwest Adventures Guide Service, helps me hold a 9-foot sturgeon for a photo. This wasn't the biggest one we hooked that day!
Sturgeon Austin
Austin Moser, Austin's Northwest Adventures, is about to release one of the sturgeon we landed while fishing below Rock Island Dam recently. We hooked eight big ones on this trip.
Sturgeon Eric
Eric Granstrom holds onto a sturgeon next to the boat before releasing it on the Columbia River. Granstrom landed three big ones on our trip with Austin Moser. He got some great video, too!
Opener Conconully Derby Prizes
Members of the Conconully Chamber of Commerce lay out the prizes for the annual trout derby for Conconully lakes anglers.
Triple Fish Aiden Voth
Young Aiden Voth cleaned up this year at the Banks Lake Triple Fish Challenge. This derby gets bigger and better every year.
Opener Buffalo Lake
Buffalo Lake on the Colville Reservation is a favorite of mine. It has some very big rainbow in it, kokanee and also largemouth bass.
Opener Rebecca Lake
Rebecca Lake is not very big, but it has a very big population on hefty largemouth bass. It is just below Buffalo Lake on the Reservation.
Opener Conconully Lake
I saw people pulling trout like crazy from the dike at Conconully Lake on Sunday. Not big, but there are lots of them.
