I had a great morning on the Wenatchee River, fishing with Shane Magnuson, Upper Columbia Guide Service. This spring Chinook gave me a great battle right after it was light enough to see right on the new deadline at the mouth of the Icicle.

This is the new double lane boat launch at the newly-constructed City Park at Entiat. This park offers many new campsites and RV hookups right on the Columbia River near the mouth of the Entiat.

Dennis Beich got this walleye on the flat above Connelly Park on Moses Lake recently. Beich faced all kinds of adversity on this outing but still managed to put a fish in the boat.

Wildlife has already settled in at the new City Park on the waterfront in Entiat. This killdeer was guarding a clutch of eggs right next to the landscaping at the new boat ramp.

Here is the Kokabow Fishing Tackle rig I used to catch some nice kokanee on Lake Chelan recently. Once again I used a double blade set up ahead of the spinner and got fish of 15 inches.

I know the trout fishing is good at Park Lake, near Soap Lake, and I heard the bass fishing was good, too. Here's an example of the size of the smallmouth in Park Lake and nearby Blue Lake has them, too.
