This is a rainbow that I caught while fishing below Canyon Ferry Dam on the Missouri River. We visiting Ed and Karen Heim in Anaconda and they took us to one of Ed’s hot spots.

My wife Eileen shows off one of the steelhead she landed near Bridgeport. We hooked five steelhead and landed four, three of them were hatchery fish. We also got three triploids.

I got this big hatchery male at Bridgeport, fishing with a bobber and Maxi Jigs. This one was 31 inches long and I lost one even bigger! I can’t wait to get back up there again.

I got this dandy hatchery fish on the Methow River the second day of the season. I was fishing with guide Jeff Brazda and Jim Passage. The fish took a bead below a Stone Fly.

Banks Lake is still producing good numbers of small walleye and the occasional big one. Here I am with a 24-incher taken recently on Barker Flats.

Ben Winkleman got this king fishing with Austin Moser below the mouth of the Klickitat River. We were using Super Baits behind flashers on 10-ounce droppers.
