Here is a limit of big kokanee from Lake Roosevelt. Eric Granstrom and I were fishing with Austin Moser, or Austin’s Northwest Adventures, near Keller. Shown also is a selection of blades and spinners from Kokabow Fishing Tackle that worked really good getting the kokanee.

Austin Moser shows off the kokanee that Daniel Booth landed while fishing below Spring Canyon on Lake Roosevelt. Booth landed lots of rainbow, too.

Just opened is the new Visitors Center at Wanapum Dam. This is great for the whole family. Both the Visitors Center and the Heritage Center were Grant County PUD projects.

This is just one small area of the Wanapum Heritage Center near Priest Rapids Dam. This was completed in October and is well worth a visit. Wonderful displays and videos.

It was worth it. Shane Magnuson holds up this beautiful hatchery hen he hooked on our very cold and wet float.

Yup. Steelhead anglers are nuts. Here is Shane Magnuson just before we shoved off to fish the Wenatchee River for steelhead.

This Rocky Ford rainbow was over 20 inches, and there are fish much larger being taken there this winter.

It was so cold the whole time I was at Rocky Ford Creek recently, that the stream was steaming all day long!

Rollie Schmitten got this nice fish on the same drift at Bridgeport.
