By Dave Graybill

After delaying my trips to Banks Lake for several days, due to the weather and high winds, I am finally going to get there. I have my friend Brian Neilson, of BJs Guide Service coming along with me to help with the video I will be shooting on some of the best places to fish for walleye on Banks. In addition to the weather being a challenge, I had another issue when I stopped at my favorite sporting goods store to buy nightcrawlers. They were completely sold out. Apparently another store came by earlier and bought every carton they had. I have a few tubs of crawlers in my fridge at home and hope to be able to get some at Big Wally’s in the morning. Just in case I picked two packages of the Berkley Gulp Hollow Killer Crawler Nightcrawlers. These are made to work on a Slow Death Hook. Hope I don’t really need them. I heard Banks was low and I drove by Potholes on my way to Moses Lake on Tuesday. It’s low as well. We’ll launch at Northrup on Banks so no problem there and will probably launch at Mar Don on Potholes on Friday.
