The walleye fishing at Banks Lake should be the best in the region this year. Not only are the walleye going to be abundant there should be lots of fish in the 16- to 20-inch class available to anglers. If you are not familiar with walleye fishing this would be a year to give it a try at Banks. To learn all about walleye fishing I would plan on attending the free seminar that will be held at Bob Feil Boats and Motors on Wednesday, May 3rd, starting a 6 p.m. Austin Moser of Austin’s Northwest Adventures guide service will be the presenter. He will have a power point presentation and have the rods, reels and tackle that he uses to show everyone. He is also going to include information on fishing for walleye at Moses Lake. Gary Feil will also be there to explain the basics of using depth sounders from Lowrance and Hummingbird. Gary really knows his stuff, so you don’t want to miss this. There will be plenty of parking at the dealership, and some great prizes will be handed out. I hope to see you there.
