By Dave Graybill

Have you seen the fall run salmon counts over Bonneville Dam? Wow. One day there were over 63,000 of them headed our way. This is going to be one heck of a fall season on the Columbia River. Anglers have already been scoring big time below Priest Rapids Dam, and it’s really just getting started. If you have never experienced fishing down there, this is the year to do it. To get you off on the right foot I have scheduled a seminar on fishing for fall kings at Town Ford in East Wenatchee, starting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25th. The presenter will be my brother Rick Graybill, who developed a variety of highly effective techniques for catching fall kings in this area. He fished from right below Priest Rapids Dam all the way down to below White Bluffs. Bring your notebook to this one, because he will be providing details on fishing herring, plugs and even eggs. I have spent many days aboard Rick’s boat when he was guiding and have caught the biggest kings of my life fishing with him. So mark you calendar, you do not want to miss this one. Remember, Wednesday, September 25th at Town Ford, beginning at 6 p.m.
