Schmitten carefully releases a wild fish he just landed on the Wenatchee River. It is important to keep the fish in the water, and they come free of the jig very easily with the use of barbless hooks.

We have had some beautiful fall weather and anglers have taking advantage of it. This was the scene at the mouth of the Methow at Pateros recently.

There is a very nice run below the bridge at the south end of town entering Okanogan. There is a public access with parking and a good amount of water can be reached from here
