Here I am making some casts for steelhead above the Oak Street Bridge in Okanogan. There is some great rip rap above the bridge and deeper water just below the bridge.

There was a great hole below the Guest House, but it was full of Chinook salmon when I stopped there, and the river was full of leaves, too.

A sure fire lure at Fish Lake is the High Lake Special, available only at the Cove Resort. Tipped with the tail of worm it is deadly here and on other lakes.

One of my favorite lures on lakes is a Frog Pattern Flatfish. It was one of the lures that we "tested" on our trip to Fish Lake. It proved its worth once again.

I remembered that Macks Lure Promise Keeper lure worked well at Fish Lake, and it still does. We landed a few and missed some hits on this lure.

On a recent trip to Fish Lake, near Lake Wenatchee, my fishing partner and I caught large numbers of rainbow on a variety of lures. This one hit a fly.

This railroad bridge is just down stream from Enloe Dam, which is the end of the line for migrating fish on the Similkameen River.

The Similkameen River, which opens to steelhead fishing on the 1st of November, is loaded with spawning Chinook salmon right now.
