I finally got a chance to go steelhead fishing, and my first fish of the season was a dandy. It measured 33 inches!

Flint Creek is a beautiful stream, meandering for miles through a scenic valley. I would like another try at this stream when conditions are better.

Flint Creek, which flows out of Georgetown Lake, near Anaconda, Montana only produced a few small brown trout when I fished it. Recent thunderstorms had muddied the water.

This is an example of the kind of cutthroat that can be caught in Warms Springs Creek. This one is smaller, but I landed one that was 14 1/2 inches.
