Methow Winthrop 2
The town of Winthrop is filling up with visitors on the weekends again, all enjoying this scenic destination that is entering the spring season.
B-Port E's Fish Best
This big buck inhaled a Maxi-Jig below my wife Eileen's bobber. After releasing this one I also hooked and released a wild hen. We were fishing in the Bridgeport area on the upper Columbia.
Pateros Rollie's Fish
Here is a hefty hen steelhead ready for release. It was hooked by Rollie Schmitten of Lake Wenatchee near the bridge at Pateros. I got one later on the Methow, it was wild, too.
L. Roosevelt Roscoe
Rosco Tolman, of Ellensburg shows off a 20-inch rainbow he landed while fishing aboard Shane Magnuson's boat on Lake Roosevelt. The big rainbow hit a floating Rapala straight-lined way behind the boat.
L. Roosevelt Catch
This is a good representation of what anglers can expect to catch at Lake Roosevelt right now. Shane Magnuson's party landed this nice mix of rainbow and kokanee near the Spring Canyon boat launch.
Rufus Woods Shane with Brown
This brown trout was a big surprise at Rufus Woods. I have never caught a brown here, and this 21-incher is proof they are there. It hit a Rapala trolled behind a planer board from Shane Magnuson's boat.
Rufus Woods Party Point
This looks like a family reunion at Rufus Woods! There were good numbers of anglers along the shore at the middle pens and this point below it when I fished here with Shane Magnuson recently.
