While scouting for sockeye spawning activity on the White River, Rollie Schmitten, his wife Barb and I came across a lot of bear tracks. Bears are out and about in our area, so be aware.

While trolling for kings on the Columbia River above the Brewster Pool we had osprey and this golden eagle keeping an eye on us. Catching was slow that day, but fishing was great.

On a recent drive through the Yakima River Canyon my wife and I came across a whole herd of bighorn sheep. The river is in great shape and I can't wait to get on it with my fly rod.
