Here I am at the Wenatchee Valley Sportsmen's Show standing in front of the Kingfisher Discovery 2025. Thanks to the folks at Bob Feil Boats and Motors and Kingfisher I will be driving this boat to do my research for my reports this season.

This the meeting of the Kittitas Valley Field and Stream that I spoke to recently. The group is the oldest not for profit sportsmen's group in the state. Debra Essman is the president this year. The first in the club's history!

Here I am removing a Maxi-Jig from a big steelhead I hooked below Wells Dam. My wife Eileen wanted to go fishing so we ran up and cast bobbers and jigs from the bar. This was the only fish, but it made out day!

This angler is working a big hole in the Tumwater Canyon for steelhead. This stretch of the Wenatchee has been open to fishing for several years. It not only offers good numbers of steelhead in the late season, but fanastic scenery.

Scott Fletcher took adavantage of the re-opening of the Wenatchee River to steelhead fishing. Here he holds a 6 1/2-pound hatchey fish he caught the second day of the opening. He released a wild fish of 12 pounds and lost another the first day. He was fishing above Monitor.

Phil Colyar, owner of Colyar Jewelry in Wenatchee, is obviously pleased with this whopper lake trout he caught on Lake Chelan. The fish weighed 35 pound, ten ounces, and will probably be the new state record. The fish was hooked in about 270 feet of water and took about 35 minutes to bring to the net.

This the photo of the new State Record Lake Trout caught by Phil Colyar, owner of Colyar Jewelers in Wenatchee. He caught the fish trolling with a Flatfish above the Yacht Club on Lake Chelan. This photo was taken at the Chelan Hospital being weighed on their certified scale.

The Seattle Boat Show is the largest show of its kind on the West Coast. This view show just a small portion of the over 1,000 boats that are on display at Century Link Field. Boats aren't the only thing to see. Every kind of item that can be used on a boat is there, too. Even marinas and travel destinations are represented.

This is Mark Delaney, Marketing Strategist with KingFisher Boats, based in Vernon, BC. He spent a lot of time with the folks at Bob Feil Boats and Motors and is always looking for better ways to commumicate the quality and value of the boats they build to dealers and their potential customers.
The company recently has become the largest builder of welded aluminum boats in the world.

Shown here is Bob Feil, Bob Feil Boats and Motors, taken at the Seattle Boat Show. Bob is 92 years old now, but hasn't missed a Boat Show in Seattle since 1956. I was there for two weekends with Dan Feil and other staff, showing off my Kingfisher Discover 2025, a pontoon boat and their new line of Supreme wake boats.
