By Dave Graybill

I had a very busy weekend. It spent two days at the Washington State Sportsman’s Show. This show appeared to be bigger and better than ever and I saw most of the people I talk to every year. Many of our local guides are there and some of the tourist associations like Grant County Tourism. I met Andy Malgamott, the editor of NW Sportsman Magazine. My first column in the magazine started in the February issue. Andy and I have exchanged e-mails over the years but had never met. I talked to Buzz Ramsey at the Yakima Bait booth and he showed me some new products he will be sending me and we talked some commission business. Marilyn Meseberg was in the Grant County booth and she told me they wanted me to expand the fishing guide I wrote for them. They have distributed over 100,000 of them so far. I also talked to the Baja Pirates people about lodging and fishing in La Paz, Baja. I will be taking a group there this spring and they were very helpful. I also spent a morning at the Seattle Boat Show. If you have never gone to this I highly recommend it. It goes through next weekend.
