This is close as I ever got to getting a photo of one of trout that Shane Magnuson hooked when we were fishing at Rocky Ford. The all managed to get away before we could hold them up for a photo!

There wasn't a breath of wind on Roses Lake on Valentine's Day. I saw one boat on the water and it was near the far bank after the bass.

Here are two boats trollng for kokanee near Mitchell Creek on Lake Chelan. One of them was Shane Magnuson, who got 30 for his boat.

Nine-year-old Wyatt Pevny of Marysville landed this rainbow at Roses Lake. There were are few anglers on the ice free lake when I stopped by.

Austin Moser, of Austin's Northwest Adventures Guide Service (left) and I show off a nice catch of walleye. We were fishing with blade baits on Potholes Reservoir. Anglers are making catches like this of walleye right now, along with some very fat yellow perch.
