One of the biggest events for those who appreciate fish and wildlife in the greater Wenatchee area is coming up on February 18th. The annual Wenatchee Sportsmen’s Association Game Feed and Auction is attended by a sell-out crowd every year. It is at this event that the group raises the funding for the many projects it does that benefit wildlife in this local area. They also sponsor fishing events that are enjoyed by hundreds of families, and also support the Wenatchee River Salmon Festival. It is the only dinner auction that offers a gourmet meal of fish and wild game provided by its members, and I do mean gourmet. The silent auction has all kinds of items that outdoorsmen will want, and the live auction is a blast. The bargains that can be had are worth the price of admission, and there are all kinds of raffle prizes, too. Ticket sales will be ended on February 13th, and the event is on February 18th, and will be held at the Red Lion Inn in Wenatchee.
