If you are a fly fisher you haven’t had much of an opportunity to put your rod and reel to use this winter here in Central Washington. Well, you can at least learn more about casting, tying and where to go with your rod and reel—all over the world--this weekend. The annual Fly Fishing Show is going on at the Lynnwood Convention Center in Lynwood, just north of Seattle. This will be the biggest gathering of world class fly tiers, casters and people that host trips to destinations all over the globe in Washington State. Many of the people that are giving presentations are big names is fly fishing, and there are some destinations you can learn about that few have visited. It is also the opportunity to talk to guides and outfitters that work waters closer to home. There will be people there from Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana to tempt you with trips. If you have an interest in fly fishing, this is the place to be this coming weekend. Just watching the shows in the Fly Fishing Theater would be worth the trip. You can learn all about the show by going to the web site for the event at www. flyfishingshow.com
