My friends Virgil and Tera Redwine never miss an opening day at Burke Lake. Anglers caught fair numbers of trout on Burke on the opener.
Martha-Lake
Martha Lake, which is east the town of George, is a long, narrow and shallow lake, but always produces some big fish on the March 1st opener.
Quincy-Lake
This angler was landing fish after fish standing at the boat launch on Quincy Lake. I could see the fish darting around in the shallows here.

I got this nice rainbow at Swawilla Basin above Spring Canyon, while fishing with Alan Greenbalgh and Jim Paine on Lake Roosevelt.
