Potholes-March-17th
This is a great time to be looking for walleye in Lind Coulee. This one hit a green sparkle Smile Blade on a Slot Death Hook.
Burke-Lake
My friends Virgil and Tera Redwine never miss an opening day at Burke Lake. Anglers caught fair numbers of trout on Burke on the opener.
Martha-Lake
Martha Lake, which is east the town of George, is a long, narrow and shallow lake, but always produces some big fish on the March 1st opener.
Quincy-Lake
This angler was landing fish after fish standing at the boat launch on Quincy Lake. I could see the fish darting around in the shallows here.
Me-Lake-Roosevelt
I got this nice rainbow at Swawilla Basin above Spring Canyon, while fishing with Alan Greenbalgh and Jim Paine on Lake Roosevelt.
Alan-Greenhalgh-Lake-Roosevelt-Kokanee
Alan Greenbalgh shows off a 17-inch kokanee he got while we were fishing with Jim Paine on Lake Roosevelt. He got a 23-incher earlier in the week.

Kokabow blades and spinners are working great on Lake Chelan for 10- to 13-inch fish. Photo 2: Kurt Middleton (Middy's Guide Service) and Jim Moser with a nice kokanee catch on Chelan.
