April is one of the busiest fishing months of the year. The lowland lake general opening day comes up on the fourth Saturday of the month, and hundreds of thousands of anglers will be heading to their favorite lake. For many this is a family tradition that has been honored for decades. I have visited with families that had four generations represented. More people pursue trout than any other species, and I wanted to recognize this passion by dedicating my free E-Letter this time to trout fishing. I just finished writing the next E-Letter and should have it out to subscribers in a few days. In this issue I describe some of the best ways to fish for trout, either from the bank or from a boat. This should help people, even those with some experience put more trout on their stringers. I also listed my Top Prospects for Spring. I mentioned several popular fishing destinations in Eastern Washington and why they made the list. If you aren’t currently receiving the free E-Letter, it's easy to sign up. Just to my website, at www.fishingmagician.com and click on the E-Letter button at the top left of the Home Page.
