By Dave Graybill

I just got all the details for a trip have planned for next April to Belize. Belize is the site of the world’s second largest barrier reef, which makes for ideal conditions for fishing for a variety of species. I have fished with some legendary guides for tarpon and spent many hours wading the flats chasing bonefish on my own. The people are friendly, speak English and the food is wonderful. Travel is set for April 5th through the 12th, and is planned for the best possible time to fish, but there are other things to do here. Diving is the main reason people visit the country. “Base camp” will be on Ambergris Caye at the Belizean Shores Resort. Included in the cost of the trip is round-trip air fare, lodging at the Belizean Shores and four days of guided fishing. I have set aside two days for other things, such as visiting San Pedro town, snorkeling, or wading the flats for bonefish. There is enough time for serious fishing and lots of fun on this one. I have room for just ten people on this trip, and I suggest that you go to my web site and click on the Travel button on the Home Page for more details right away.
