By Dave Graybill

This is a huge weekend for anglers. It’s the opening of the lowland lake fishing season and thousands of anglers will be hitting the lakes in our region, primarily looking for trout. I will be out checking on the lakes and to see how anglers are doing on Saturday, and on Sunday I will be at the annual yard sale held by the Central Washington Bass Club. For over twenty years the bass club members have gathered up their extra tackle and other items and priced them at garage sale prices. It is a good fund raiser for the club as ten percent of the proceeds goes to their treasury. I am going to participate this year. I haven’t cleaned out my garage in a while and I have a huge amount of rods, reels and all kinds of tackle that I will be piling on a table. The event will be at the Grocery Outlet on Wenatchee Avenue. Just look for my Ford F-150 and the Bob Feil Boats and Motors Jetcraft. Everything will be set up and ready to go starting at 9 a.m. and the sale ends at 3 p.m. This is a great way to get some super deals on great gear and help the local club.
