This sign on the wall at Sedition Brewing Company shows the support that the new owner received from friends and the community when he took on the job of refurbishing an ice house that was a century old. It is a good example of the efforts being made revitalize the businesses in The Dalles.

The Baldwin Saloon dates back to 1876 in The Dalles and has an amazing history. What is amazing here now is the menu. I have sampled some of their fare, like chicken pot pie, bacon wrapped dates and bouillaibasse.
Plan to have dinner here after fishing. You'll be amazed, too.
