This big owl was waiting for me near Rainbow Beach on Georgetown Lake. He was very patient while I positioned myself for this photo.

I got a chance to fish Georgetown Lake, Montana, within a week of the ice coming off. I caught a dozen nice rainbow in a couple of hours in the evening.

This 16-pound spring Chinook smacked a prawn spinner, and was landed by Mark Spada of Yakima Bait. Drano Lake was the fishing location.
