Keen Sandals
It may seem odd to see a review of something other than fishing gear, but in a way I guess Keen sandals really are. I wore very pricey deck shoes for years. They were fine. I could jump in and out of the boat and they would dry and be okay. However, when I did get them wet they got very loose. Deck shoes were also very hot in the summer. When I asked Josh Tarr, at the American Shoe Shop in Wenatchee what he thought would be a good alternative, he answered with just one word—Keens. I tried them and liked them. They were much cooler in summer. They kept their shape when they got wet. The traction was very good in the boat. The arch support was also very good. No lower back pain and sore feet! I practically lived in a pair of these sandals for two full seasons, and they look like new. I really did wear them every time I went fishing, and even wore them to work—for two years! They aren’t cheap, but as you can see they are a real value. I don’t know when I will need a new pair. Keen sandals come in a lot of different styles, so you pick the ones that suit your needs. The ones shown here sure worked great for me.
